Bike Polo? Yup, similar to horses but on bikes! Hamilton started playing this fun and unique sport about a year ago.
Bike Polo has been played for more than a hundred years but made it's come back in the western world in the 90's when some bored cyclists started playing in the city. You can use any bike to play and mallets are made out of old ski poles and plastic pipe (we have spares for anyone making a mallet). Males and females alike play on the same teams or versus each other.
We play regularly on Sundays at 2pm at Hamilton Lake and on Tuesdays at 6.30pm at Leamington Domain, Cambridge. New players, spectators and all bikers are welcome to come and try it out or watch (beer in hand).
Check our facebook to confirm if there is play happening on the day.
